Hence, it is a highly efficient resource.”Hardy, 31, was here as a guest speaker at the recent Eco-B Forum organised by the Malaysian Institute of Architects in conjunction with the 2nd Malaysia Eco Building & Design Exhibition 2013 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.Hardy’s presentation generated much excitement among the large number of architectural students present. Since 2010, her father John, a well-known silver jewellery designer, had been experimenting with bamboo buildings, inspired by another long-time Bali resident, Linda Garland, a pioneer and vocal proponent of using bamboo for construction.
